Inspecting Surface Profile from Touch Probe Points

How to measure the surface profile from the touch probe points? i have a edge requirement with surface profile requirement, since Scanning edges with ATOS III Scan on the parts have more residuals, so probed the edges with touch probe.

what you have asked for is not possible in the current software version 2021 but starting with the upcoming software version 2022 the surface profile tolerance can be applied to touch probe points if these points are collected inside a touch probe plane, touch probe cylinder, touch probe probe cone or touch probe sphere (there is no such thing as a touch surface). To make this work, an actual touch probe element has to be linked to a nominal geometry element via its measuring principle and the surface profile tolerance has to be applied to the nominal element.
