Equivalent Mises Strain

Hi there,

In ARAMIS, I noticed that the current formula of determining the Equivalent Mises Strain is:

PhiM=sqrt(2/3*(Phi1^2+Phi2^2+Phi3^2))

I would like to use a different formula:

PhiM_i=PhiM_i-1+sqrt(2/3*(dPhi1_i/dt^2+dPhi2_i/dt^2+dPhi3_i/dt^2))

Can anyone help me program the script?

Thank you ahead!

Your request should be possible using a custom user-defined inspection. Here is a small tutorial on the topic that I made a little while back as an intro to the topic: https://tinyurl.com/rgrtekh. You can also find more information about this feature in the Knowledge Base: https://support.gom.com/display/DOCS/Customizable+Checks

Reaching out to your local distributor might also prove quite helpful too!
