deselecting parts of a surface component only at certain stages

I am working with GOM Correlate on a large 3D DIC Aramis project. Since the data is gathered on human participants, in some stages of deformation I get faulty data or holes in data.

Is it possible to deselect parts of the surface component only at specific stages? Also, is it possible to define the surface component in any other stage other than the reference frame (the first frame)?

I would very much appreciate your help and suggestions.
