Local CAD comparison without sharp edges of Cad model

Hello :-),

I need to make a local CAD comparison with meshes of CAD model.

But the model have sharps corners and the actual part doesn't, so the result isn't convincing :

 

I would like to "exclude" the sharhe edge from my mesh selection.

I tried to use a surface curve from 0.5mm of border but I can't make a surface selection "inside" it only "on" it:

 

 

I would like a area selection ("manualy" done)  like below :

 

Do you have an idea ?

Idea: 

• Select patches on CAD
• Decrease the selected region with the according command

Edit the ACTUAL surface or geometry OR when you apply the Measuring Principle. look for the "Decrease selection at borders" option and check it.

Following to your message, my team mate (Aka Kevin) show me the Decrease Select Area :

 

But I have chosen to make a fitting surface with Decrease selection at borders (see Luis' message) because it's more "accurate" for my need.

Sylvain,

If you going to work on the CAD make sure the "CAD triangulation parameters" is appropriate.

Also i found that some times it will not do it on the Actual data.

This might not be an option for you, but when I run into this issue, I create radii on the edges of the CAD model. I'll generally take a quick measurement of the scan object radius first, then go into NX and put edge radii of that same size where I need them on the CAD model.
