What is the function "Lock Elements Directly Dependent from Measurement Series" for ?

As supposed by its name it locks meshes and prevents them to become "uncalculated". A similar to the function lock report pages, known from the basic training.

This function was introduced for multipart projects:
Assume you measure one part of an assembly ( e.g. a casting part) and polygonize this.
Then you want to create a second part, e.g. the core for the casting part and you want to create a second measurement series measure the 2nd. All in the same project.

Continuing measurements would set the polygonised mesh in a state where a recalc is required. Now you can use the function "Lock Elements Directly Dependent From Measurement Series" so that the mesh of the first part won't become uncalculated when you make further measurements.
