Select by value

Hello support team,

 

I recently found out about the "Select by value" function.

 

I can not figure out how to "transfer" the resulting selection from the surface comparison to the mesh (I want to have remove some areas of the mesh, based on some range of deviation values).

 

Could you please explain me how to achieve this?
