You have your CAD model and your mesh and they won't align...Did you try making the search time longer or giving them a nominal point to help them find each other?

In general: If the 'Prealignment' is not working, use a different alignment strategy. For example:

1. Alignment by three points
2. Local Bestfit afterwards (may be with a bigger maximum distance)
3. For further main alignments: Check that the 'Parent alignment' is your local bestfit to have a good starting point.
