3D Strain of ring

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using GOM to analyze the deformation of a ring under tensile test, but I need some help with adding photos from two cameras into the software and calculating the 3D strain. I've tried looking for information on this topic, but I haven't been able to find any satisfactory answers.

Could someone please guide me on how to add photos from two cameras into GOM and how to calculate the 3D strain of the ring under tension? I'm open to any suggestions and advice, so please feel free to share your knowledge and experiences.

Hi,

you can't add just to images series into correlate and let the software calculate the 3D information. 

You need to run a calibration before with a calibration object and defined steps with different position of the object within your measuring volume.
