Label background color by scalar type

Hello,

Is it possible to change the label background color by expression?

I would like to color the labels of points inspected in X different than points inspected in other directions. The purpose is to show a 3-2-1 (RPS) alignment quickly in the graphic area.

In the expression I could use the scalar type. But how can I assign a background color to the label?

I'm not sure about the background color but there is the format() function for text color under Fx in the expression editor -> String functions.

Hello Nanno,

That was not what I had in mind. The background color seems to be more adequate to distinguish the labels. Changing text color has an impact on the readability of the text.
