Speckle Selection

Hello,

When creating a surface component, is it possible to see which speckles are being tracked on the surface of the sample? And would it then be possible to ignore certain speckles from being tracked for strain analysis?

Hello Hayden,

you can select and deselect specific areas of the speckle pattern within the creation dialog of the surface component. Over the timeline you find different selection tools (the red buttons) to select/deselect the area you want to. Just hold the right mouse and with the minus you can remove the area you currently selected.
