[Je...]
Dear GOM user or GOM Team, I was wondering if I can also calculate the volume from a surface comparison analysis. In my case I have a surface without snow accumulation on my model ground and then a surface with snow on the ground. And then I did a surface comparison so see how high the snow cover was on the ground. Kind regards Jennifer
[Be...]
Hi, a volume couldn't be calculated, but you can use approximation values. This link gives you more information: https://connect.gom.com/display/GKB/Calculation+of+the+integrated+distance Hope this helps?! Could you give me a good link to understand the calculation of the integrated distance? That link doesn't work. Thanks in advance, Alessio

[al...]
Could it be possibile to select a closed region (for example, a curve) and measure the integrated distance for that region in the surface comparison?
[Be...]
You can create a point selection manually on the surface comparison and you see the values for the selected region.
