Creating adapters for photogrammetry

I'm planning to create custom adapters. I understand that the adapter requires at least 3 reference points, but I can't find an instruction to create an adapter in software. Need help!

go to operation - adapter there are the different adapter types listed. Chose the needed type and go to direct help for more information how the element is created and used for.

If that does not help: Please add some more information what adapter you are using and about your measuring task
