How do you hide the PIP without cancelling it

Complete newb here to GOM...doing the free training right now. The PIP never pops up for this girls voice teaching us newbies(see pic), but I cannot avoid a PiP(see my pic), maybe I'll see it as a weapon much later on, but I'm not looking to learn 2 different angles of attack right now. How do you disable this without cancelling it to the shadow realm and watching it disappear from the bar up top?

Hi,

simply click on the tab bar (on the name 'PIP'). This toggles the visibility of the 3d window. 

If you close this window with an 'X' you can add this window again if you click at '+' sign.
