Error MATOS-B026 cannot import DCM file

Hi, I'm new to the GOM Inspect. I was trying to import a .DCM file, but once I got the import dialog options, I clicked on STL file type. I got the error MATOS-B026

Hi, I'm new to the GOM Inspect. I was trying to import a .DCM file, but once I got the import dialog options, I clicked on STL file type.

I got the error MATOS-B026 "the import has failed. Cannot import .DCM file".

That's fine + I figured out my file format was probably wrong, but now, every time I try to import a file with the .DCM extension, I cannot get the import dialog options. I get the MATOS B026 error and I cannot do anything with it.

I have uninstalled the program, manually deleted all the folders I found (ProgramData, AppData...), but I still get the same error after reinstalling.

What can I do to reset my import options ?

Hello Anne-Sophie,

a DICOM file should be imported into "Volume Inspect" and the target in the import dialog should be "volume".
