Plus (+) means the actual (measured) mesh/data is above the CAD mesh. => means more material is there in reality than needed (compared to the reference mesh / CAD). Minus (-) means the actual (measured) mesh/data is below the CAD mesh. => means less material is there in reality than needed (compared to the reference mesh / CAD).
