Hello,

I'm a student in orthodontist and for my thesis I would like to compare the position of miniscrew Which are placed between teeth. I will have 40 same modele, and the only thing that is changed is the position of the miniscrew. I would like to know if it's possible to compare the position (in millimeter and degree) of the head of miniscrew between  a STL file with a miniscrew (CAO modele) with real modeles (which are scanned). I think I understood what you want and this should be possible in our software.

Try to construct a suitable geometry for each miniscrew. This will be the definition for the position. You need this geometry on the CAD (STL) and the corresponding measured mesh. You could link the elements with the Measuring Principle Link To Actual Element if the software can't find it's counter part automatically. After that you apply different checks on the constructed elements.

If you have 40 meshes to analyze you should use stage projects to compare the results and create statistics.
