Convert ASCI cloud points into Mesh

How can I convert ASCI cloud points into Mesh in GOM inspect? 

 

In the next step I'd want to prealignment created earlier Mesh and CAD part.

Hello Natalia,

when you drag the ASCII point cloud into the software -> ASCII -> New Part, you can chose an import template in the next dialog. Depending on your data Pointcloud (Scanner) with or without normal should be fine. When the pointcloud is imported you can use this function ("Operations -> ... in the menu):

When the mesh is created, you can chose an alignment as usual.
